Create (~2-3 Weeks):
Bootpack collaborates with you to turn your financial goals into a clear, customized plan, using an Investment Policy Statement (IPS) and a comprehensive strategy that includes investments, insurance, and estate planning—giving you control, clarity, and confidence in your financial path.
Execute (2-4 Weeks):
In this phase, Bootpack puts your plan into action by executing strategies like transferring and restructuring portfolios or setting up estate documents, working alongside accountants, lawyers, and tax experts to ensure every detail aligns with your goals.
Navigate (Ongoing):
We regularly review your plan to keep it aligned with your evolving goals, monitoring investment performance and any life changes, and recommending adjustments as needed to keep your financial strategy on track.

However, our comprehensive financial plans and portfolio proposals are tailored to each client and require considerable time to compile. Therefore, we reserve this detailed work exclusively for existing Bootpack clients.

During the initial 3-6 month onboarding phase, we maintain frequent communication—daily or weekly—as there are many moving parts in implementing a new financial plan. After this phase, clients typically prefer to touch base 2-4 times a year for portfolio updates or on an as-needed basis when situations arise. Regardless of the need, we’re always available.
We intentionally maintain a relatively small number of clients compared to the hundreds or thousands at other firms. This enables us to dedicate more time to each client and be highly responsive.
Additionally, all clients receive monthly or quarterly reports summarizing their accounts, including inflows and outflows, rate of return, and commentary on their portfolio and asset classes.

No, we utilize the same strategies and funds as our clients, meaning we’re invested right alongside you. The only difference is the degree of risk—some clients prefer more, while others prefer less. Regardless, we will always be among Bootpack’s largest clients - a very different approach than most wealth management firms.

No, our sole business is providing ongoing advice and investment management. We are not a brokerage firm and do not hold client funds. Instead, we utilize Charles Schwab, an independent brokerage firm and custodian, where clients maintain their accounts and investments. We hold a Limited Power of Attorney on client accounts, allowing us to buy and sell investments to manage your portfolio effectively.
